Gluten Free Weekend

This weekend I was extremely busy baking gluten free cakes for my friends who are gluten intolerant/have celiac. I’ve tinkered with the recipe, finally succeeding in creating a gluten free banana cake/bread that’s as good as my original.  It’s fluffy, moist, and so not like the usual gluten free baked goods.

The Brigadeiro Chocolate cake was also tinkered – using too much almond flour in past cakes, I have replaced most of it with brown rice and white rice flours.  The result: Devine! The birthday girl didn’t want to share any – Ha!

The banana cake loaf is available for $15 and the cake for $65 if you’re interested in ordering them.

Finally, AC Power Yoga was kind enough to make my energy bars ($4… paleo $4.50) available to its students who enjoyed sampling them after the amazingly awesome Baptiste power yoga sessions.  Thank you AC Power… you’re the best!
